The flat we stayed in was old and musty, keep this in mind because this is an older building. It needed to be aired out and once you opened the windows, it was a nice inexpensive stay. As long as you dont expect the world of it you will be pleasently suprised at the space, comfort of the beds, and cosy location in a hip Amsterdam neighborhood.

The one downside there was no water pressure but our flat was on the top of the house, so, that might help explain, plus the age, and I suppose it can't be helped. Other then that for the money it is a nice place.

There was not much that I enjoyed about the hotel. For 90 Euro a night, I was extremely disappointed as this was my 3rd hotel I have stayed at in Amsterdam.

There was a horrible mold smell permeating throughout the hotel. Once I saw the bathroom I realized why; there was mold all over the walls. The shower was very poor as well; the water pressure was almost non-existent. The beds were twin size and extremely uncomfortable.

We stood at the studio, which is actually 10 minutes walking away from the hotel. It is situated at a rather busy street and is not actually as central as the hotel. It was a small flat and was furnished withr rather old furniture.

Located 5 minutes walking from the center. Many cafes in the area and there's a supermarket close by.

We stayed in a studio close to the hotel. It had not been cleaned in months, everything was very dirty. Only after complaining they gave us another studio which was in better condition. Hotel manager very impolite, staff cold and unfriendly.

Location is excellent! The staff was mostly friendly and they communicated with us. One of them was also very cooperative when we by accident left our key in our room. Breakfast was ok. They bring it to the table, you get a plate with a slice of cake, an egg, one slice of cheese and one slice of ham, and two kinds of marmelade and butter. And they bring a small basket full of white, warm bread to the table. There could've been more cheese and ham than just one slices each, but I guess it was enough. And I didn't like the cake. There happened to be a show one night and we had a lovely time and met nice people. There's a tv in the room. One nice lady brought us more towels without asking.

You have to pay for the room before you see it. Bathroom is actually a toilet with a shower kind of thing. But it works! And we got an extra towel to dry the floor after shower, so using the toilet afterwards was more pleasant. There was mold in the bathroom. It's nasty, hopefully we weren't allergic. Just don't touch the walls. Bed was mostly fine, but we didn't have that mattress cover on the bed, so the sheet didn't stay still. The sheet was too small so we ended up sleeping on a bare mattress with all kinds of stains on it. There was only one used roll of toilet paper when we got there, but we got as much toilet paper from reception as we wanted! The carpet is dirty, but we don't have itchy feet! Too expensive. But I guess you mostly pay for the location, which is on a busy street with lots of stores.

I booked an apartment for two beds, the hotel reception was about 500meters away from the apartment, and I was given the top 4th floor with additional space, and two additional extra beds. The hotel or the apartment has no free Parking. One has to hire the Parking services costing around 30€ for 24hrs. Or one can park with Evening Tickwet from 19:00hrs-9:00hrs for 16€.

There was no basin in the bathroom, the bathroom was like a shower fixed in a wc celler, and without any bath tub or shower cabin or curtain. The door locks and handles were poor and broken. The door handle comes in hand while opening the door.

The staff is not always nice, it depends on the people. The hotel is not dirty, but not really clean (no cleaning of the toilet for 3 days, dirty floors, 1 room service in 6 nights). They charge 5% for credit card, the breakfast is only 8.30-10, noisy hotel smelling weed often in the corridor. The only good thing is its location.

    The location was ok.

The most disgusting hostel I have been in my life. And believe me, I have been and seen some very bad hostels in some bid cities in Europe, but never, like this. It was awfull just entering in the room, the smell was really unbearable, because of the dirtiness and the lack of ventilation; I can not explain just in words. And what to say about the sheets, it was white but covered with completelly black dirtiness; and a smeelling carpet. There was not bathroom, just a smell room with a toilet, a shower head and a drain. The staff in reception, a few minutes walking from the hostel, didn´t give me whole money back, actually they charge one night (like everywhere else), though they were nice. Thanks god to the big windows, we stayed all the time with the windows opened. You can get sick in such places because it is insanitary, and for sure ruin your holidays, in this nice city like Amsterdam. Hard to believe there is places like this nowadays. With a bit more of money you can go to a nice, clean and confortable in Amsterdam (there are so many) and spend a nice holidays with your boyfriend, friend or family.

Location is OK, free wifi internet, good and friendly staff.

Cleanliness, small room, broken window, sticky air, dirty carpet.

location - 20 minutes from red light district

The hotel room was tiny and everything was done as cheaply as possible. The breakfast was very poor and rule was that once the orange juice had gone - none would be avaliable so we had to drink orange squash, It was a very expensive hotel with locatopn being best - 20 minutes walk from the red light district. The room had no soap and it was like a prison cell.

Location is excellent - great view of old Amsterdam street from the window and 20 minutes walking to Central Station. A lot of different shops at the street. Great view of channel in 2-minutes walking behind the hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Great opportunity to feel yourself in the heart of amsterdam!!!

The breakfast was poor for us and it was the same for all 9 days staying. Very small room with old furniture. The WiFi signal was not stable at the 2nd floor - we tried but couldn't make good skype connection etc because of signal disappearing.

  • Single

The one thing that was really good was location - not far from the city center, near the channels

The room is too small. A sink is right in the room. It's like a hostel. Besides it was very noisy to sleep there even if u go to bed in the morning. Also when we left our luggage after check out the personal there told us to pay 5 euros to put it in the safe place but they mixed or forgot smth and all our bags including laptop were right in the bar that was in the next door!
